Integration
See what moves today, where each record belongs and what a future connection would need to show.
No integrations connected; demo uses manual updates.
Nothing currently syncs with practice-management, scheduling or clinical-record systems.
How the manual workflow works today
Step 1
Clinic sends a request
A staff member asks the patient for a specific document in Nest of Kin.
Step 2
Receipt is recorded
The patient returns it in Nest of Kin, or staff records that it arrived by paper, email or clinic software.
Step 3
Clinic reviews the document
An authorised staff member reviews the file and confirms the request outcome.
Step 4
The request closes
Nest of Kin updates the shared request status for the patient and clinic.
This records status and provenance. Staff may still need to update their clinic system separately.
Which system owns each record
Clinic system remains authoritative
- Clinical recordFormal notes, results and treatment decisions
- AppointmentsOfficial booking, rescheduling and cancellation
- Patient administrationClinic identifiers, billing and operational records
Updated in Nest of Kin
- Patient-shared documentsFiles and details the patient has chosen to share
- Document requestsRequested, returned, reviewed and closed status
- Sharing and journey contextConsent, access history and patient-managed context
Nest of Kin does not silently write into the clinic record. Patient sharing controls still determine what the clinic can access here.
